George Chountas (born in 1976) lives and works in Athens, Greece.

He has graduated in 2008 from the Athens School of Fine Arts (ASFA), where he

studied arts with professor Chronis Botsoglou (2003-2008). He was also trained in sculpture

by sculptor Takis Kozokos (2000-2002) and in Icon painting in the school of Giorgos

Chochlidakis (2002- 2009). At ASFA he also attended courses in multimedia and graphic arts.

He lives and works in Athens. He has collaborated with Nikos Charalambidis in the ''Arab

Guggenheim Museum'' project and has participated in many group exhibitions.
